I have a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and received a Master of Science in Education/School Counseling degree while living in New York. This is my 24th year as an ASCA aligned Professional School Counselor, with this being my 22nd year at Jefferson. Having worked with adolescents for almost 30 years, I welcome the opportunity to support and guide our students, along with their families, toward the long term goals of high school graduation, college and career readiness, and engagement with the world as kind and empathetic adults.

Finally, I am deeply committed to a learning environment that inspires and empowers students to realize their full potential through the support, affirmation and acceptance of peers and staff. I am especially invested in fostering a school climate and culture where KINDNESS is a way of being and primary to being a Jet.

Jefferson maintains a strong history of accomplished student character, academic excellence and a deep embrace of diversity and inclusion. I am both proud and grateful to be a Jet!
