Resetting your password.

Go to to reset your password and take a minute to set up your security profile.


Make sure to also keep your old password in mind if your school Apple computer gives you a keychain error.  You may need to enter your old password to remove the error screen.




You must reset your password by February 1, 2017

Password Requirements

Middle and High School Students

Your new password must: 

  • Have a minimum length of 8 characters
  • NOT include your first or last name
  • Use 3 of the following 4 characters (Complexity):
    • Uppercase character (e.g., A‐Z)
    • Lowercase character (e.g., a‐z)
    • Numeric character (0-9)
    • Non-alphanumeric character such as @, $, !, etc.

Note: You're required to change your password every 365 Days. You will not be able to reuse your previous 4 passwords. Your account will be locked after 20 failed login attempts and you will have to wait 15 minutes before you can try again. Your student ID cannot be used for your password. New students must change their password before logging into APS systems.


The following are NOT allowed to be included in your password.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Student ID
