What is a Community School?

A Community School is both a place and a set of partnerships between the school and other community resources.

A Community School’s focus on the integration of academics, health and social services, youth, family, and community engagement and development leads to improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities.

Community Schools develop and strengthen partnerships between schools and the communities they serve.

We would like to thank the following for a successful start to the school year:

Title 1

APS Clothing Bank

The Albuquerque Assistance League

John & Muffin Menicucci

Peggy Monte

Stephan Slota

Thank you very much for your support.  The Jefferson Community is very grateful!
